The economic diplomacy of Switzerland

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá na ekonomickou diplomacii Švýcarska. Švýcarsko je považováno za malou otevřenou ekonomiku, závislou na zahraničních vztazích. Ale konfederace je příkladem úspěšného hospodářství. Práce se nezabývá obecným popisem a strukturou ekonomické diplomacie. Cílem je zjistit, zda se ekonomická diplomacie Švýcarska chová jako diplomacie liberálního státu. Pomocí vybraných liberálních kritérií práce analyzuje strategii zahraniční hospodářské politiky státu a chování ekonomické diplomacie.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of economic diplomacy of Switzerland. Switzerland is considered as the small open economy, dependent on the foreign relations. But the Swiss Confederation is the example of the successful economy. The thesis is not concerned with the general description and structure of the economic diplomacy. The target is finding whether the Swiss economic diplomacy has behaved as the diplomacy of liberal state. Using chosen liberal criteria the thesis analyses the strategy of the foreign economic policy of the state and behaviour of the economic diplomacy.
