Diplomová práce se zabývá konstrukcí mediálního obrazu události známé jako korupční „kauza Rath“. Ta odstartovala zadržením vysoce postaveného českého politika MUDr. Davida Ratha policií České republiky v momentě, kdy si údajně odvážel od svých spolupracovníků Kateřiny Pancové a Petra Kotta úplatek za zmanipulování veřejné zakázky financované z fondů Evropské unie. This thesis deals with the construction of the image of the so called „ Rath´s Affair“ in the media.
