The Minority Integration in the Present Europe: the Model Examples and the EU Integration Policy

Abstract:

Petříčková, Romana. Integrace minorit v současné Evropě: modelové příklady a integrační politika EU. Brno: Fakulta sociálních studií, Masarykova univerzita, 2007, 46 str. bakalářská práce. Bakalářská práce se formou obsahové analýzy zaměřuje na přístup k migrační a integrační politice v Německu, Francii, Velké Británii a Evropské unii. Výsledkem bakalářské práce je komparace jednotlivých přístupu daných států v kontextu jejich členství v Evropské unii, s tím,že se pokusí odpovědět na otázku, zda-li je možné v těchto, popřípadě v jakých podmínkách očekávat vznik společné evropské migrační a integrační politiky. Součástí práce je i analýza obecných teoretických modelů přístupu k migraci a integraci, bez kterých zkoumání možnosti budování společné migrační a integrační politiky EU, s ohledem na národní tradice přístupu reprezentované třemi modelovými státy, není možné.

The bachelor thesis targets the approach to the migrational and integrational policy in Germany, France, Great Britain and the European Union in the form of a synoptical analysis. The result of this bachelor thesis is a comparison of particular approaches of the given states in context of their membership in the European Union. It tries to answer the question, if it is possible – and if then in what conditions – to await some kind of common European migrational and integrational policy to be called to life. Part of the thesis is an analysis of general theoretical models of approach to migration and integration, without which is a research of possibilities in creation of common migrational and integrational policy of EU, with the regard of national traditions of approach represented by three model states, not possible.
