The help of children at home through the eyes of mothers

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá prací dětí v domácnostech, a to z pohledu jejich matek. Práce je členěna do dvou částí, kterými jsou část teoretická a praktická. Teoretická část se zaobírá definicí samotného dítěte a jeho práce, dále se zaměřuje na rodinu a její výchovné styly. Taktéž je popsána důležitost role matky. V neposlední řadě je zmíněna motivace, jakožto nástroj pro plnění různých činností. V praktické části nejprve vysvětluji využití kvalitativní metody pro účely mého zkoumání a taktéž shrnuji výsledky provedených rozhovorů s matkami. Cílem bakalářské práce je poznat a popsat, jak matky interpretují pomoc dětí v domácnosti a jak je k výkonu dané činnosti motivují.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with housework by kids through the eyes of their mothers. My work is divided into two parts which are theoretical and practical. Theoretical part summarizes the definition of child and his work, next there is a definition of family and its educational styles. There is mentioned also the role of a mother. The last chapter of the first part is dedicated to motivation as a tool for doing requested activities. In the practical part, I am explaining why I chose a qualitative method for my research and also summarize results of the interviews with mothers. The aim of my bachelor thesis is get to know and describe how mothers describing and see the help of their kids at home and how they motivate them to do these works.
