Presumptions for agritourism development in selected European countries

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou předpokladů pro rozvoj agroturistiky ve vybraných státech Evropy. Zkoumanými státy jsou Česká republika, Slovensko, Rakousko, Německo a Polsko. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V rámci první kapitoly jsou definovány základní pojmy vztahující se k tématu a jsou vymezeny jednotlivé formy šetrného cestovního ruchu včetně agroturistiky. Druhá kapitola je zaměřená na analýzu zkoumaných států z pohledu lokalizačních, selektivních a realizačních předpokladů pro rozvoj agroturistiky. Předmětem hodnocení jsou také organizace, které se zabývají podporou venkovské turistiky a agroturistiky na národní úrovni jednotlivých států. Dále je zhodnocena komplexnost nabízených produktů, existence jednotného systému nabízených služeb a systémů kvality služeb. Do úvahy je vzat také historický vývoj jednotlivých zemí, který měl zásadní vliv na to, jak je tato forma trávení dovolené v těchto státech rozvinutá. V rámci třetí kapitoly jsou shrnuta předchozí zjištění na základě, kterých je sestavena SWOT analýza a výsledky výzkumu jsou shrnuty v závěrečném hodnocení. Výzkumnou metodou je sekundární analýza, v rámci které bylo čerpáno z dostupné literatury, statistických dat, odborných článků, dokumentů a relevantních internetových zdrojů. Z analýzy jednotlivých zemí vyplynulo, že největšími předpoklady pro rozvoj agroturistiky disponuje Rakousko a Německo, kde tato forma trávení dovolené má silnou tradici.

Abstract:

The master thesis deals with analysis of the presumptions for tourism development in selected European countries. The countries studied are the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Germany and Poland. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines the basic concepts related to the topic and defines the different forms of sustainable tourism, including agritourism. The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the studied countries in terms of locational, selective and implementation prerequisites for the development of agritourism. The organisations involved in promoting rural tourism and agritourism at the national level in each state are also assessed. Furthermore, the comprehensiveness of the products offered, the existence of a unified system of services offered and the quality of service systems are assessed. Consideration is also given to the historical development of each country, which has had a major impact on the way in which this form of holiday activity is developed in those countries. The third chapter summarises the previous findings on the basis of which a SWOT analysis is drawn up and the results of the research are summarised in the final evaluation. The research method is secondary analysis, which drew on available literature, statistical data, academic articles, documents and relevant internet sources. The analysis of the individual countries showed that Austria and Germany, where this form of holiday has a strong tradition, have the greatest prerequisites for the development of agritourism.
