Factors Producting Work Stress in Radiology Assistants

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou stresu, který prožívají radiologičtí asistenti na odděleních Radiodiagnostiky, Radioterapie a Nukleární medicíny. V teoretické části jsou základní informace týkající se stresu, jeho příznaků ale i odbourání. Dále jsou zde hlouběji popsány vybrané faktory stresu a vyústění stresové situace, takzvaný syndrom vyhoření. Pro průzkum byla využita metoda dotazníkového šetření. Dotazníky byly rozdány na oddělení Radiodiagnostiky, Radioterapie a Nukleární medicíny. Po výběru již vyplněných dotazníků byly veškeré odpovědi seskupeny a znázorněny v průzkumné části této práce pomocí grafů a tabulek. Výsledkem práce je znázornění množství výskytu stresu na pracovišti i mimo něj. Dále množství případů sexuálního obtěžování a psychické šikany na těchto pracovištích. V práci jsou uvedeny možné zdravotní komplikace související se stresem a způsoby zbavení se jich. Dalším výsledkem práce je zjistit jaké faktory stresu nejvíce ovlivňují pracovníky na radiologických pracovištích.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of stress experienced by radiological assistants in the departments of Radiodiagnostics, Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine. The theoretical part contains basic information about stress, its symptoms and reduction. Furthermore, selected factors of stress and the outcome of a stressful situation, the so-called burnout syndrome, are described in more detail. The method of a questionnaire survey was used for the survey. The questionnaires were distributed to the Department of Radiodiagnostics, Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine. After selecting the already completed questionnaires, all answers were grouped and shown in the exploratory part of this work using graphs and tables. The result of the work is a representation of the amount of stress in the workplace and outside it. Furthermore, a number of cases of sexual harassment and psychological bullying in these workplaces. The thesis presents possible health complications related to stress and ways to get rid of them. Another result of the work is to find out which stress factors most influence workers in radiological workplaces.
