Patients with Diabetes Mellitus Type 1 in Diabetologic Ambulance

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku a prevenci pozdních komplikací diabetu mellitu 1. typu. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část zpracovává základní poznatky o onemocnění, jeho léčbě a přidružených komplikacích. V praktické části jsou zpracována data, která byla získána na základě kvantitativního výzkumu. Prostřednictvím dotazníku byly získány informace od 94 pacientů navštěvujících diabetologickou ambulanci. Zjišťována byla informovanost pacientů trpících diabetem mellitem o pozdních komplikacích tohoto onemocnění a míra dodržování režimových opatření při léčbě. Na základě výzkumného šetření byly zjištěny nedostatky jak v dodržování režimových opatření, tak i v oblasti informovanosti. Na základě porovnání těchto dat bylo zjištěno, že míra dodržování režimových opatření stoupá v závislosti na vyšší míře informovanosti respondentů o pozdních komplikacích diabetu mellitu 1. typu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue and prevention of late complications of diabetes mellitus type 1. The thesis is dividend into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deal swith basic knowledge about the disease, its treatment and associated complications. In the practical part, data, which was obtained on the basis of quantitative research are processed. The questionnaire provided information from 94 patients attending the diabetologic surgery. The awareness of patiens suffering from diabetes mellitus about late complications of this disease and the degrese of adherence to regime arrangements during its treatment were investigated. On the basis of the research, shortcomings were found both in compliance with theregime arrangements and in the area of awareness. Based on the comparison of the data, it was found that the rate of adherence to regime arrangements increases in response to a higher level of awareness among respondents about the late complications of diabetes mellitus type 1.
