Implementation of the Smart City Concept for the Development of Inteligent Transportation in Statutory City Zlin

Abstract:

V rámci současného trendu rozvoje urbánních oblastí se objevují se nové výzvy, které je potřeba zahrnout do koncepce rozvoje měst. Jednou z těchto výzev je rostoucí tlak na dopravní infrastrukturu a řízení veřejné dopravy. Jedním z poměrně nových dosavadních přístupů, jak rostoucím výzvám v oblasti dopravy čelit je využití konceptu Smart city a jeho tematické podoblasti Smart mobility. Předmětem diplomové práce je návrh projektu v rámci konceptu Smart mobility pro rozvoj inteligentní dopravy ve statutárním městě Zlín. Cílem této diplomové práce je využití konceptu Smart city a jeho aplikace na prostředí krajského města Zlína pro rozvoj v oblasti dopravy. Na základě provedených analýz současného stavu dopravy a současné implementace Smart city v dopravě městě ve Zlíně zmapovat potenciál pro rozvoj inteligentní dopravy ve Zlíně a na jeho základě navrhnout projekt, jehož realizace přispěje k budování inteligentní dopravy ve Zlíně.

Abstract:

Within the framework of current trends in development of urban areas, new challenges arise. Those challenges must be included in the concept of cities development. One the challenges is a growing pressure on infrastructure and public transportation management. One of the relatively new current trends on how to approach growing challenges in transportation is usage of the Smart city and its thematic subcategory Smart mobility. The subject of the thesis is to introduce a project, within the framework of Smart city concept for the development of intelligent transportation in the statutory city of Zlín. Aim of the thesis is utilization of Smart city concept and its application in the environment of the regional city of Zlín, for its development of a public transportation. Based on the analyses of the current state of the transportation and the current state of the implementation of Smart city in Zlín is to map the potential for the development of intelligent transportation in the city. Based on the analysis propose a project, which implementation will support the concept of intelligent transport in Zlín.
