Bullying - Negative Phenomenon among Convicted

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zjistit efektivnost prostředků určených k prevenci, odhalování, řešení, minimalizaci či potírání šikany, jež mají k dispozici zaměstnanci Vězeňské služby České republiky. Je rozdělena do dvou částí teoretické a empirické.  Teoretická část popisuje a vysvětluje základní pojmy týkající se dané problematiky. Zabývá se příčinami, souvislostmi a vlivy vedoucími k šikaně ve vězeňském prostředí, jejími důsledky a možnou léčbou či prevencí, čímž se stává východiskem pro empirickou část.  Empirická část se zaměřuje na průzkum důvěry v ochranný systém a průzkum efektivnosti preventivních a následných opatření proti šikaně, které má k dispozici Vězeňská služba České republiky, z pohledu dospělých odsouzených mužů z Věznice Stráž pod Ralskem, kde si odpykávají svůj nepodmíněný trest odnětí svobody. Pro průzkumné šetření byla zvolena kvantitativní metoda, jejímž nástrojem byl anonymní dotazník. Získaná data jsou vyhodnocena, zobecněna a upravena do doporučení především preventivních opatření proti šikanování.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis aims to determine effectiveness of the means of prevention, detection, solving or reduction of bullying that are available for employees of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic. It is divided into two parts theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part describes and explains the basic concepts related to the issue. It deals with the reasons, contexts and influences leading to bullying in the prison environment, its implications and possible treatment or prevention thus becoming the basis for the empirical part.  The empirical part focuses on the research of trust in the system of protection and research of the effectiveness of preventive precautions and follow-up practices against bullying, which are available within the Prison Service of the Czech Republic, from the perspective of adult convicted men serving their unconditional sentence in the Prison Stráž pod Ralskem. An anonymous questionnaire was selected as a method for the quantitative survey. Results are evaluated, generalized and adapted to the recommendations especially preventive practices against bullying.
