The Implementation of Cross-curricular Themes in the Teaching of Civics Using Audiovisual Material

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zařazením průřezových témat do výuky výchovy k občanství za pomocí využití práce s audiovizuálním materiálem. Cílem práce je vytvoření praktických návrhů konkrétních hodin postavených na audiovizuálním materiálu a široké škále metod. Vytvořená metodika je vždy rozdělena na část před projekcí, během projekce a po projekci vybraného audiovizuálního materiálu, což odpovídá třífázovému modelu učení E-U-R, který je charakteristický pro metody kritického myšlení. Součástí každé navrhované vyučovací hodiny je dále reflexe její realizace na druhém stupni jedné základní školy v Brně. Teoretická část je věnována zmapování jednotlivých průřezových témat v kontextu výchovy k občanství a přiblížení filmové edukace. Praktická část poté rozebírá metodologii, využité výukové metody a představuje struktury jednotlivých vyučovacích hodin.

Abstract:

The master thesis deals with the implementation of cross-curricular themes in the teaching of Civics using audiovisual material. The aim of the thesis is to create practical designs for concrete lessons based on audiovisual material and a wide range of methods. The created methodology is divided into a part before, during and after the film screening of the selected audiovisual material, corresponding to the ERR framework system, which is characteristic of critical thinking methods. Each proposed design also includes a reflection on the implementation of lessons at lower secondary school in Brno. The theoretical part is devoted to the mapping of individual cross-curricular themes in the context of Civics, and introduction of film education. The practical part then analyses the methodology, the teaching methods used in the design and presents the structures of the individual lessons.
