Economic Analysis of a Selected Public Administration Organization

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je posoudit stav hospodaření vybrané organizace veřejné správy na základě informací o finančních zdrojích a zhodnocení vývoje příjmů a výdajů. Výchozí organizací je školská příspěvková organizace s vyhraněným zaměřením. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část práce zobrazuje teoretické poznatky o veřejné správě a státních neziskových organizacích. Následuje část praktická, která obsahuje představení zvolené organizace a analýzu jejího hospodaření. Součástí analýzy je zhodnocení hospodaření za pomoci vybraných nástrojů a následná analýza v pětiletém období. Vhodně zvolené ukazatele finanční analýzy jsou poté aplikovány na organizaci. Nedílnou součástí je i vlastní kritické zhodnocení, případně doporučení.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the management of a selected public administration organisation. The evaluation criteria is based on information on financial resources and an assessment of the development of income and expenditure. The initial organisation is a school contributory organisation with a distinct focus. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part of the thesis shows the theoretical knowledge about public administration and state non-profit organisations. This is followed by the practical part, which includes an introduction of the selected organisation and an analysis of its management. The analysis includes an evaluation of the management using selected tools and a subsequent analysis over a five-year period. Appropriately selected indicators of financial analysis are then applied to the organisation. The analysis will include a critical appraisal and, where appropriate, recommendations.
