Digital Competence of Teachers in Preschool Education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce smíšeného výzkumného designu se zabývá zkoumáním názorů učitelů na úroveň digitálních kompetencí v souvislosti s kompetenčním rámcem pro učitele předškolního vzdělávání. Teoretická část vymezuje koncept kompetencí učitele předškolního vzdělávání a teoretická východiska týkající se úrovně digitálních kompetencí. Praktická část prezentuje výsledky výzkumu, který kombinuje jak kvantitativní, tak kvalitativní přístup k výzkumu, což umožňuje komplexní porozumění tématu a poskytnutí podrobných informací o názorech a postojích učitelů v oblasti digitálních kompetencí v kontextu předškolního vzdělávání. Kvantitativní výzkum je provedený s učiteli mateřských škol v České republice prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření. Tento typ výzkumu poskytuje kvantitativní data o názorech a postojích učitelů. Kvalitativní výzkum je realizovaný s učiteli mateřských škol ve Zlínském a Jihomoravském kraji prostřednictvím strukturovaného rozhovoru. Tento typ výzkumu nám přináší lepší porozumění názorům a postojům pedagogů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the examination of teacher´s opinions on the level of digital competences in connection with the competence framework for teachers of preschool education. The theoretical part defines the concept of preschool teacher competencies and the starting points regarding the level of digital competencies. The practical part presents the results of the research, which combines both quantitative and qualitative approaches, this enables a comprehensive understanding of the topic and detailed information about the opinions and attitudes of teachers in the field of digital competences in the context of preschool education. Quantitative research is conducted with kindergarten teachers in the Czech Republic through a questionnaire survey. This type of research provides data about teacher´s opinions and attitudes. Qualitative research is carried out with kindergarten teachers in Zlínský and Jihomoravský regions through a structured interview. This type of research gives us a better understanding of the opinions and attitudes of educators.
