Criminal activities as a result of alcohol abuse

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářská práce je: Páchání trestné činnosti v důsledku zneužívání alkoholu. První část práce je rozdělena do několika oddílů. První oddíl je zaměřen na alkohol, jeho charakteristiku, účinky na člověka a vliv na jeho zdraví, vznik závislosti a odvykací stav. Druhý oddíl je pojednává o spojení alkoholu a kriminality, kde je popsán trestně právní význam alkoholu. V dalším oddílu je zaměření alkoholu a kriminality především na kriminalistickou charakteristiku krádeží a to od typických stop přes zvláštnosti podmětů a předmětů vyšetřování, které vedou k etapám vyšetřování a v poslední řadě k prevenci. Dále je oddíl zaměřený na kriminalistickou charakteristiku dopravních nehod a to také podle kriminalistické metodiky jako krádeže. Druhá část práce je kvantitativní výzkum, který byl vedený formou rozhovoru s pacienty v psychiatrické léčebně na oddělení, kde se specializují na závislost na alkoholu a drog. Cílem bylo zjistit, zda pacienti spáchali nějakou trestnou činnost pod vlivem alkoholu. Výsledek výzkumu dopadl tak, že všichni pacienti, se kterými jsem vedla rozhovor byli pod vlivem alkoholu v době spáchání trestného činu. Nejčastěji se jednalo právě o krádeže a řízení motorového vozidla.

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor thesis is: Committing crime as a result of alcohol abuse. The first part is divided into several sections. The first section is focused on alcohol, its characteristics, effects on human and its health, addiction and withdrawal. The second section deals with the connection of alcohol and crime, where the criminal importance of alcohol is described. The next section, the focus of alcohol and crime is primarily on the criminalistic characteristics of theft, ranging from typical traces to the peculiarities of subjects and subjects of investigation that lead to investigation stages and, ultimately, to prevention. Furthermore, the section focuses on the criminalistic characteristics of traffic accidents also according to the criminalistic methodology as theft. The second part of the thesis is quantitative research which was led by form of an interview with patients in a psychiatric hospital in the department where they specialize in alcohol and drug addiction. The aim was to find out whether patients had committed any alcohol-related crime. The result of the research was that all the patients I interviewed were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime. Most often it was the theft and driving of a motor vehicle.
