The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out how the causes of existence of the gender pay gap differ in Portugal and the Czech Republic, to evaluate from the analyzed data whether we could be inspired by some policies and approaches of Portugal in the field of gender pay gap and assess the possible transferability of these policies.
