Management screening investigation of hearing defect by newborn

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem práce bylo zjištění organizace screeningového vyšetření ve vybraných zdravotnických zařízeních. Druhým cílem bylo zjistit, zda jsou rodiče dítěte edukováni o vyšetření sluchu u jejich novorozence. Metodika: Výzkumný soubor tvořily sestry na novorozeneckých odděleních a sestry na ušním, nosním, krčním oddělení. Výzkum byl realizován ve čtyřech nemocnicích Moravskoslezského kraje: nemocnice Třinec, Frýdek-Místek, Karviná a Fakultní nemocnice Ostrava. Technikou sběru dat byl nestandardizovaný dotazník vlastní konstrukce, který nám měl pomoci zjistit znalosti sester v oblasti otoakustických emisí a vyšetření s nimi spojeného. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 72 všeobecných sester. Výsledky: Statisticky byly ověřeny údaje v jednotlivých nemocnicích. Jejich rozdíly ve vědomostních otázkách, zajištění správného postupu vyšetření. Všeobecné sestry v této problematice mají přehled. Dále poznamenáme důležitost zajištění edukace rodičů vyšetřovaných dětí. Použití brožur zasvěcující do tohoto vyšetření. Rodiče nemají často přehled, že toto vyšetření u jeho dítěte proběhlo. Dalším získaným údajem bylo zjištění o centrálním registru. Šetřením bylo zjištěno, že centrální registr nevedou žádné z vybraných zařízení. Závěr: Pozdní diagnostika sluchové vady ovlivňuje celkový stav dítěte, jeho zařazení do běžného života a rozvoj celkové osobnosti. Z tohoto důvodu je podstatné klást důraz na edukaci rodičů v porodnici, dále zvýšit povědomí sester pracujících na neonatologii o důležitosti vyšetření. Přínosem této práce je ukázka jednoduchého vyšetření, které pomůže zajistit dítěti úspěšný start do života.

The target:?The objective of the present thesis was to determine the organization of screening tests in selected health facilities. The second objective was to determine whether parents are educate newborn hearing checked for their newborn. Methodology: The research sample consisted of nurses in neonatal wards and the nurses at the ear, nose, throat department. Research was conducted in four hospitals Moravian-Silesian Region: hospital in Třinec, Frýdek ? Místek, Karviná and College hospital of Ostrava. The data collection was standard questionnaire of our own design, which should help us to identify the knowledge of nurses in otoacoustic emissions and the associated examination. The research group consists of 72 nurses. Results:?Statistically, data were verified in the individual hospitals. Their differences in aptitude questions, ensuring the proper procedure for examination. The Nurses are orientate in this topic. Note the importance of ensuring the further education of parents of children examined. Using an insight into this booklet examination. Parents often do not have the overview that this examination took place at his child. Another indication was the finding obtained by the central registry. The investigation revealed that the central registry do not any of the selected device. Conclusion: Late diagnosis of hearing loss affects the overall condition of the child's inclusion in the daily life and overall personality development. For this reason, substantial emphasis on the education of parents in the hospital, as well as nurses working to raise awareness about the importance of neonatology at the examination. The benefit of this work is an example of a simple test that will help ensure your child a successful start in life.
