Abstract:

Člověk ve svém životě neustále poznává, učí se, vytváří a především hledá smysl svého života. Výchova dětí a jejich smysluplné zařazení do společnosti se v našem životě stávají pro mnohé z nás tím, co je pro nás nejcennější. Téma diplomové práce je tedy směřováno právě do této citlivé oblasti a vývojového období, ve kterém dochází k zásadnímu formování dítěte a jeho socializaci. V teoretické části se v jednotlivých kapitolách zabývám základními pojmy, které se vztahují k dané problematice ať už k prostředí rodiny, k výchově dětí, k trestání jak primárně formou tělesných trestů, tak marginálně formou psychických trestů. V samostatné kapitole se věnuji analýze dat výzkumu z roku 2013 a 2018 a jejímu vyhodnocení. Ve výzkumné části, prostřednictvím kvantitativního výzkumu analyzuji zjištěné příčiny tolerance společnosti k uplatňování tělesných trestů při výchově dětí v rodinách a porovnávám zjištěné rozdíly mezi pohlavím a dále mezi respondenty se zkušenostmi či bez zkušeností s výchovou svých dětí.

Abstract:

In life, one constantly recognizes, learns, creates and, above all, seeks the meaning of life. It is raising children and their meaningful inclusion in society that becomes the most valuable thing in our life. The topic of this master´s thesis is directed to this sensitive period in which the child is fundamentally formed and socialized. The chapters in the theoretical part of the thesis deal with the basic concepts that relate to the issues of the family environment, raising children and punishment, primarily in the form of physical punishment as well as marginally in the form of psychological punishment. The separated chapter deals with the analysis of research data from 2013 and 2018 and its evaluation. The following part of the thesis concerns quantitative research. It analyses the identified reasons of tolerance to the use of physical punishment in our society during children upbringing in families. It also compares the observed differences between respondents - both the genders differences as well as the differences between respondents with or without experience with raising children.
