Teacher's diagnostic activity

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá nezbytnou složkou každodenní práce učitele, a to diagnostickou činností. Ta spadá do oblasti pedagogické diagnostiky, která se věnuje faktorům, které ovlivňují školní výkony žáků. Na žákův vývoj a školní výsledky má značný význam, a proto by měl být učitel seznámen s důležitostí takovéto diagnostické činnosti, oblastí, kterých by si měl všímat, a jakých metod k tomu využívat. Právě tomu se věnuje teoretická část této práce, která vznikla na základě uvedené použité literatury. Je zde realizován výzkum týkající se názorů studentů na diagnostickou činnost svých učitelů. Cílem bylo získat informace o jejich představě náplně této oblasti a popisu ideálního a skutečného stavu dané problematiky. Zajímalo nás, jak moc se bude ideál od skutečného stavu lišit. Údaje byly získávány pomocí slohových prací, které psali studenti středních škol. Výsledky byly zpracovány obsahově-kategoriální analýzou a následně graficky zpracovány.

Abstract:

This work deal with daily work of the teacher ? with the diagnostic activity. This activity is part of pedagogic diagnose that is engaged in factors affecting the student's performance at school. It has extensive consequence on the student's performace and school results. From this reason the teacher should be informed about this diagnostic activity, about domain which he should be interested in and which methods he should use to fulfill targets of this activity.The teoretical part of this work just concern information about this stuff. It was based on listed literature. There was realized research about students opinion to diagnostic activity of theirs teachers in this work.The aim was to get information, what students think the diagnostic activity is about, and information about an ideal teacher and the real state of this issue. We were interested in difference between the ideal state and the real one. The data were gotten from essays written by high school students. The results were processed by categorical content analysis and it was also processed by the graphical representation later on.
