Tato práce je sondou do díla Roalda Dahla a soustředí se zejména na koncept rodiny ve vybraných knihách. Práce také předkládá nejčastější témata, která je možné najít v jeho práci, a zároveň se zaměřuje na tabu a stereotypy, které Roald Dahl ve své práci kritizoval. Abstract:
This thesis is a probe into the work od Roald Dahl, with the main focus given to the concept of family within Dahl’s work. It outlines the most common themes he works with while looking into various taboos and stereotypes scrutinized in his work. It challenges the common concept of family while analysing Dahl’s most famous books, and it also pays attention to what one understands to be a family.
