Actual security threats and risks and their basic division

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem aktuální bezpečnostní hrozby a riziky a jejich základním dělením. V teoretické části jsou čtenáři představeny stěžejní pojmy, se kterými bude dále v textu pracováno. Konkrétně se jedná o definice pojmů hrozba a riziko. Následně teoretická část seznamuje s aktuálními bezpečnostními hrozbami. Je popsán terorismus, mezinárodní terorismus, ozbrojená agrese. Autorka analyzuje aktuální hrozbu, a to narušení státní hranice a vnější hranice Evropské unie. Práce se také soustředí na aktuální rizika, zaobírá se tématem migrace, nelegální migrace, masové migrace a rozebírá azylovou politiku státu. V praktické části se autorka zaměřuje na současnou hrozbu, která ovlivňuje každého občana České republiky, a tou je válečný konflikt na Ukrajině. Dotazníkové šetření se pak týká i nelegální migrace a s ní spojených rizik. Dotazník zjišťuje, jak hodnotí respondenti migraci a rizika a jak se k nelegální migraci staví Evropská unie a zda je vůbec možné tuto migraci zastavit. Výsledky lze vyhodnotit tak, že největší hrozbu vidí dotazovaní v terorismu a nelegální migraci, ale vnímají i další hrozby spojené s těmito pojmy. Autorka pracuje s názory respondentů na řešení migrace, zároveň se však obává, že nelegální migrace bude růst i v dalších letech, jak dokazují v teoretické části práce někteří zmínění autoři.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of current security threats and risks and their basic classification. In the theoretical part, readers are acquainted with the key concepts that will be further worked in the content of the work. Specifically, these are definitions of the terms threat and risk. Subsequently, the theoretical part introduces the current security threats. Terms such as terrorism, international terrorism, armed aggression are described. The author further analyzes the current threat, namely the violation of national borders and the external borders of the European Union in general. The work also focuses on current risks – it deals with the topic of migration, illegal migration, mass migration and examines the state's asylum policy. In the practical part, the author concentrates on the current threat that affects every citizen of the Czech Republic, and that is the war conflict in Ukraine. For the purpose of the work, a questionnaire survey was conducted, which also concerns illegal migration and risks related with it. The questionnaire asks respondents how they assess migration and risks and how the European Union approaches illegal migration and whether it is possible to stop this migration at all. The results of this survey show that respondents see the greatest threat in terrorism and illegal migration, but they also perceive other threats associated with these concepts. The author works with the respondents' opinions on the solution of migration, but at the same time she expresses her concern that illegal migration will continue to grow in the coming years, which is based on evidence in the theoretical part of the work that was presented by some authors.
