The Proposals for Measures to Address the Negative Effects of Suburbanization in the Hinterland of Olomouc

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá procesem rezidenční a komerční suburbanizace v zázemí města Olomouce, které v poslední době představuje území s velmi intenzivním suburbanizačním rozvojem. Cílem práce je nejprve charakterizovat průběh suburbanizačního vývoje v letech 1989 2015 v Olomouci a jejím zázemí, poté zhodnotit dopady tohoto procesu na zkoumané území a na základě toho pak navrhnout projekty zaměřené na minimalizaci negativních dopadů suburbanizace ve vybraných obcích. Z výsledků práce vyplývá, že proces rezidenční suburbanizace se v zázemí města Olomouce nejvíce projevil v období mezi lety 2003 a 2007. Poté došlo k menšímu utlumení, v současnosti zase obce nadále díky tomuto procesu rostou, a růstový trend lze očekávat i do budoucna. Pro obce v zázemí Olomouce suburbanizace přináší spíše negativní dopady, které nepříznivě ovlivňují život obyvatel v těchto obcích. V projektové části práce jsou navrženy dva projekty, které tyto negativní dopady minimalizují a zlepšují tak občanskou vybavenost vybraných obcí.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the process of residential and commercial suburbanization in the hinterland of Olomouc, which has over a long period represented a region with the intensive development of suburbanization. The aim is at fist to characterize the progress of suburbanization development in Olomouc and it´s hinterland between the years 1989 2015. Then to evaluate the impacts of this process on the chosen region and on the basis of this evaluation is the aim to suggest the projects focusing on the minimization of negative impacts of suburbanization in the chosen municipalities. Results of this thesis show that the process of residential suburbanization in the hinterland of Olomouc has started emerge primarily between the years 2003 and 2007. Afterwards it has gone through a decline, but currently the municipalities grow due to this process and the growth trend is also expected in the future. The suburbanization causes rather the negative effects in the suburban municipalities that adversely impact the lives of residents of these municipalities. The two projects, which minimize these negative effects and improve the public facilities, are suggested in the project part.
