Possibilities of using the principles of Revenue Management in a hotel of up to 50 rooms located in the spa town of Luhačovice.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na revenue management v hotelovém odvětví. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní pojmy a základní charakteristiky a nástroje revenue managementu. V praktické části je zkoumána úroveň implementace v malých hotelech (do 50 pokojů) v lázeňském městě. Cílem je zmapovat organizační strukturu v takto velkých hotelech. Zjistit jaké nástroje revenue managementu tyto hotely využívají a srovnat úroveň implementace a využívané nástroje u malých samostatných hotelů s hotelem obdobné velikosti, který je součástí lázeňské akciové společnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on revenue management in the hotel industry. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts, characteristics, and tools of revenue management. In the practical part, the implementation of revenue management in small hotels (up to 50 rooms) in a spa town, Luhačovice, is examined. The aim is to map the organizational structure of these hotels, determine which revenue management tools they use, and compare the level of implementation and tools used in small independent hotels with those of a hotel of similar size that is part of a spa joint-stock company.
