Modern Audit in Business Practice

Abstract:

Žijeme ve velmi rychle se vyvíjející době, která přináší časté změny, ať již do společnosti nebo i do podnikové sféry. Je proto důležité, aby na tyto změny a možná rizika management podniku vhodně reagoval. Na základě literární rešerše oborových teorií je cílem bakalářské práce provedení interního auditu, který ověřuje rizikové procesy vybraného podniku a nabízí praktickou nápravu odhalených zjištění. K ověření rizikových procesů napomáhá právě interní audit. K metodám interního auditu, které jsou v průběhu auditu aplikovány, patří interview, pozorování, analýza rizik a rozbor procesů podniku. V průběhu auditu jsou v oblasti nastavení webového e-shopu identifikovány možné hrozby a následně doporučena specifická nápravná opatření k jejich omezení nebo eliminaci. Díky aplikaci interního auditu dochází k včasnému odhalení rizikových procesů. S těmito rizikovými procesy již musí umět pracovat management podniku. Management podniku tak při nějaké budoucí změně nebo rozhodnutí bude lépe reagovat. Vhodná reakce je pro podnik stabilizující, protože v globálním měřítku jsou takové podniky pro rozvíjející se společnost nezbytné.

Abstract:

We live in a very fast-paced period that brings frequent changes, whether to society or to business. It is therefore important that the management of the company is able to respond appropriately to these changes and potential risks. In order to identify potential risks an internal audit can be used. Based on the literature review of a field theories, the aim of this thesis is to carry out an internal audit that identifies risky processes of the selected company and offers a practical remedy for the detected findings. Methods applied during the audit include interviews, observations, risk analysis and business proces analysis. In the course of the audit, possible threats will be identified, in the area of setting up an e-shop, recommendations and specific corrective measures will then be produced to reduce or eliminate them. Thanks application of an internal audit, risky processes can be detected early. It is important that the management of the company is able to work with these risky processes. Theresults of the audit will help the managament of the company to react better to any future changes or decisions. An appropriate response can help to stabilize the company, because on a global scale these companies are essential for the emerging society.
