Abstract:

Magisterská práce se věnuje vývoji reprezentace srbského panovníka od počátku 13. století do poloviny 14. století, přičemž v tomto období v Srbské řísi vzniknul bohatý vizuální materiál vyobrazující členy dynastie Nemanjiću. V rámci výzkumu byly zkoumány portréty několika panovníků ale i srbských světců, jejichž portréty se nacházejí v klášterech Studenica (kostel Pany Marie Evergetis, Radoslavův nartex, King's church a malby na věži), Sopoćani (kostel sv. Trojice), Visoki Dečani (kostel Pantokratora). Magisterská práce zkoumá změny panovnického portrétu, stylu a módy. Tyto změny často souvisely s aktuální politickou situací v srbském království i na Balkáně, v rámci této práce je rozebíráno období od počátku srbského království (1217) do korunovace prvního srbského císaře Dušana (1346).

Abstract:

The master's thesis focuses on the development of the representation of the Serbian monarch from the early 13th century to the mid-14th century. During that time, a wealth of visual material depicting members of the Nemanjić dynasty emerged in Serbia. The research examined the portraits of several rulers but also Serbian saints whose portraits are found in the monasteries of Studenica (the church of Virgin Evergetis, Radoslav's narthex, King's church, and paintings on the tower), Sopoćani (the church of the Holy Trinity), Visoki Dečani (the church of Pantokrator). The master's thesis examines the changes in monarchical portraiture, style, and fashion. These changes were often related to the current political situation in the Serbian kingdom and the Balkans, and the period from the beginning of the Serbian kingdom (1217) to the coronation of the first Serbian emperor Dušan (1346),is analyzed.
