Photographic examples of the most common physiological and pathological ophtalmology findings

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou rozeznávání fyziologického nálezu od patologického nálezu na oku. V prvních kapitolách pojednává o problematice slepoty ve světě a v našich podmínkách. Srovnává situaci v rozvojových zemích a ve vyspělých zemích. Další kapitoly jsou věnovány správnému postupu vyšetření očí, kde je kladen důraz především na vyšetření štěrbinovou lampou. Ostatní kapitoly jsou věnovány popisu fyziologického oka a patologického oka. Je uveden rozbor několika nejčastějších očních patologických nálezů, na které každý může ve své praxi narazit. Na teoretickou část navazuje část praktická, která je složena ze dvou oddílů. První oddíl je vytvořen z fotografií fyziologických a patologických nálezů na oku. Každá fotografie má svůj odborný popis pro komplexnější pochopení daného nálezu. Druhý oddíl se skládá z vědomostního kvízu, kde si každý čtenář může ověřit své znalosti z oblasti rozeznávání fyziologických a patologických nálezů. Na konci tohoto oddílu jsou vypsány správné odpovědi k vědomostnímu kvízu tak, aby si každý mohl zkontrolovat správnost svých odpovědí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the recognition of physiological findings and pathological findings on the eye. The first chapters deal with the issue of blindness in the world and in our conditions. It compares conditions in developing countries and developed countries. The next chapters are devoted to the procedure of the eye examination, where the emphasis is mainly on slit lamp examination. The other chapters are devoted to the description of the physiological eye and the pathological eye. An analysis of some of the most common eye pathological findings that everyone can encounter in their practice is presented. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which consists of two sections. The first section is made up of photographs of physiological and pathological findings on the eye. Each photograph has its professional description for a more comprehensive understanding of the finding. The second section consists of a knowledge quiz, where each reader can verify their knowledge of the recognition of physiological and pathological findings. At the end of this section, the correct answers to the knowledge quiz are listed so that everyone can check the accuracy of their answers.
