Reproductive Health and Prevention in the Work of a Midwife

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na reprodukční zdraví a prevenci v práci porodní asistentky. V teoretické části je popsána reprodukční soustava ženy. Další kapitola objasňuje pojem reprodukční zdraví a jsou popsány některé faktory, které reprodukční zdraví mohou ovlivňovat. Nedílnou součástí reprodukce a reprodukčního zdraví je plánované rodičovství a antikoncepce. Tyto pojmy jsou v teoretické části také vysvětleny a jsou popsány různé antikoncepční metody. Poslední kapitola je zaměřena na edukaci porodní asistentky v gynekologické ambulanci. Jsou zde zmíněny oblasti reprodukčního zdraví, o kterých by porodní asistentka měla edukovat, dále možnosti způsobu edukace a je vysvětlen pojem prevence a její důležitost. V praktické části této bakalářské práce jsou formou kvantitativního výzkumu prostřednictvím nestandardizovaného dotazníku zjišťovány znalosti v oblasti reprodukčního zdraví u žen ve věku od 15 let. Dotazníkovým šetřením je také mapována kvalita a forma edukace porodních asistentek v gynekologických ambulancích Plzeňského kraje. Získané poznatky jsou uvedeny v závěru práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on reproductive health and prevention in the work of a midwife. The theoretical part describes the reproductive system of women. The next chapter clarifies the concept of reproductive health and describes some factors that can affect reproductive health. Planned parenthood and contraception are an integral part of reproduction and reproductive health. These concepts are also explained in the theoretical part and various contraceptive methods are described. The last chapter is focused on the education of a midwife in a gynecological ambulance. Areas of reproductive health that the midwife should educate about, the possibilities of the method of education and the concept of prevention and its importance are explained. In the practical part of this bachelor's thesis, in the form of quantitative research, knowledge in the field of reproductive health in women aged 15 and over is determined through a non-standardized questionnaire. The questionnaire survey also maps the quality and form of education of midwives in gynecological ambulances in the Pilsen region. The acquired knowledge is presented in the conclusion of the thesis.
