Aplikovaná metalografie v oblasti hodnocení kvality vybraných svarových spojů s ohledem na použití vhodných metodik leptání a hodnocení

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá hodnocením aplikované metalografie s ohledem na použití vhodných metodik leptání při provádění makroskopické a mikroskopické kontroly svarových spojů. V teoretické části je popsán pracovní postup provedení daných kontrol včetně přípravy vzorků a uvedení do problematiky hodnocení makro a mikrostruktury s užitím světelné mikroskopie. V aplikační části je provedena makroskopická a mikroskopická kontrola vybraných svarových spojů a návarů austenitických a uhlíkových ocelí původem z jaderné elektrárny Temelín. Během makroskopické a mikroskopické kontroly byly identifikované vady nejčastěji nalezeny v heterogenních svarových spojích. Byly nalezeny vady výrobního charakteru i vady způsobené během provozu (počátky korozních degradačních mechanismů). V experimentálním výzkumu byly aplikovány leptadla Adler, Nital 5 %, Kalling 2, Klemm’s, Fluoregia, Bechet-Beaujard, Glyceregia a několik experimentálních leptadel na 7 sad vzorků. Výsledkem této práce je zhodnocení širokého spektra použitých metodik leptání, proto ji lze použít např. jako výukový materiál Katedry strojírenství VŠTE. Navíc díky přesnému popsání postupu přípravy vzorků je možné na tento výzkum navázat a výsledky vzájemně porovnávat.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the evaluation of applied metallography with regard to the use of appropriate etching methodology when performing macroscopic and microscopic inspection of weld joints. In the theoretical part, the work procedure of carrying out the given controls is described, including the preparation of samples and an introduction to the issue of evaluating macro and microstructures using light microscopy. In the application part, a macroscopic and microscopic inspection of selected weld joints and cladding deposits of corrosion-resistant austenitic and carbon steels originating from the Temelín nuclear power plant is carried out. During macroscopic and microscopic inspection, the identified defects were most often found in heterogeneous weld joints. Defects of a manufacturing nature as well as defects caused during operation (beginnings of corrosion degradation mechanisms) were found. In experimental research, Adler, Nital 5 %, Kalling 2, Klemm’s, Fluoregia, Bechet-Beaujard, Glyceregia and several experimental etchants were applied to 7 sets of samples. The result of this thesis is an evaluation of a wide range of used etching methodologies, therefore it can be used, for example, as teaching material of the Department of Engineering at VŠTE. In addition, due to the precise description of the sample preparation procedure, it is possible to follow up on this research and compare the results with each other.
