The Influence of the Group De Stijl on Czechoslovak Avantgarde
Abstract:
This bachleor thesis maps the influence of the Holland group De Stijl and neoplasticism on the Czechoslovak avant-garde. The thesis focuses on the relationship between Theo van Doesburg and Karel Teige, two leading figures of the interwar culture. The aim of this thesis is to describe the influence of the Holland group De Stijl on the Czech scene between two world wars.
Abstract:
Diplomová práca sleduje vplyv holandskej skupiny De Stijl a neoplasticismu na československú avantgardu. Zameriava se na vzťah Thea van Doesburga a Karla Teigeho, dvoch významných osobností medzivojnovej kultúry. Cieľom práce je popísanie vplyvu holandského hnutia De Stijl na české prostredie v období medzi dvoma svetovými vojnami.
