Improvement of dribbling of male and female U13 basketball players with the help of Court Vision glasses

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zjistit, zda námi navržená tréninková intervence ovlivní výkon ve specifických motorických testech zaměřených na driblink u hráčů a hráček basketbalu U13. V diplomové práci se zaměřím na problematiku spojenou se zlepšením driblinku u basketbalistů a basketbalistek U13 (do třinácti let věku) za pomoci Court Vision brýlí. Očekává se, že po navrženém šestitýdenním tréninkovém plánu dojde u hráček a hráčů ke zlepšení driblinku. V tomto ohledu bude výzkumný soubor rozdělen na experimentální a kontrolní skupinu. Bude sledován rozdíl ve výkonu ve specifickém motorickém testu po použití brýlí mezi experimentální a kontrolní skupinou. Zároveň bude sledován efekt použití brýlí u experimentální skupiny. Z výzkumného šetření vyplývá, že námi zvolená tréninková intervence ovlivnila výkon v motorických testech za pomoci speciálních driblinkových cvičení v kombinaci s použitím Court Vision brýlí. U experimentální skupiny došlo ke statisticky i věcně významnému zlepšení výkonu ve specifických motorických testech (Slalom s driblinkem a Židlový test). Při porovnání výsledných hodnot mezi experimentálními a kontrolními skupinami nedochází ke statisticky významným změnám. Zjištěné výsledky mohou být využity trenéry v praktickém prostředí pro ovlivnění sportovního výkonu v basketbalu.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to find out whether our proposed training intervention will affect performance in a specific motor tests focused on dribbling in U13 basketball players. In the diploma thesis I will focus on the issues associated with the improvement of dribble in basketball players and U13 basketball players (up to thirteen years of age) with the help of ourt Vision glasses. After the proposed six-week training plan, the players are expected to improve their lead. In this regard, the research set will be divided into an experimental and a control group. The difference in performance in a specific motor test after using glasses between the experimental and control groups will be monitored. At the same time, the effect of using glasses in the experimental group will be monitored. The research shows that our training intervention influenced performance in motor tests with the help of special dribble exercises in combination with the use of Court Vision glasses. In the experimental group, there was a statistically and materially significant improvement in performance in specific motor tests (Slalom with dribble and Chair test). There are no statistically significant changes when comparing the resulting values between the experimental and control groups. The results obtained can be used by coaches in a practical environment to influence sports performance in basketball.
