Socialization of teenagers and adolescents diagnosed with stuttering

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem „Socializace osob s koktavostí v období dospívání“ analyzujeprocessocializacebalbutikůvrámcivýchovně-vzdělávacíhoprocesuaprofesníhouplatnění.Dálehledáfaktorydeterminujícísamotnýprocessocializace.Práce je dělena na dvě části – teoretickou a praktickou. První část je tvořena dvěma kapitolami. První kapitola je věnována základním pojmům, jakojsou komunikace,jazykové roviny či narušená komunikačníschopnost. Druhá kapitola se zabývá již samotnou koktavostí. Zaměřuje se na její etiologii, symptomatologii i diagnostikou. Druhá část má výzkumný charakter a skládá se z jedné kapitoly. V této kapitole jsou stanoveny výzkumné otázky i metodologie šetření. Na základě dílčích cílů jsou vytvořeny případové studie jednotlivých informantů. Šetření má charakter kvalitativníhovýzkumu,kesběrudatbylovyužitopolostrukturovanéhorozhovorusetřemi informanty

Abstract:

This bachelors thesis entitled „Socialization of teenagers and adolescents diagnosed with stuttering“ analyzes the stuttering persons’ socialization process during their education and its effect on finding employment. Furthmore the factors which determine socialization process are sought. The thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical (emipircal). The first part consists of two chapters. The first chapter deals with basic terms such as communication, language-and-speech analysis and speech disorder, the second chapter addresses the stuttering itself. Etiology, symptomatology and diagnostics of stuttering are described in detail in the second chapter. The empirical part is based on the research. The research questions and metodology are given in the first section. On the basis of intermediate aims the case studies of individuals with stuttering were made. For the data collecting, methods of qualitative research and semi-structured interview with three individuals diagnosed with stuttering were used
