Polární oblasti jsou svými extrémními abiotickými faktory nehostinné pro většinu organismů a řasy jsou vystavovány velice náročným klimatickým podmínkám. Due to their extreme abiotic factors, the polar regions are inhospitable to most organisms and algae are exposed to very harsh climatic conditions. This work was focused on the study of primary processes of photosynthesis influenced by radiation and temperature stress in the polar algae strains Klebsormidium, Diploshaera and Stigeoclonium.
