Abstract:

Tématem této práce je teroristická organizace Islámský stát. Cílem práce je definovat aktuální projevy Islámského státu. Dalším cílem práce je zjištění toho, zda Islámský stát představuje stále bezpečnostní riziko pro evropský kontinent. Dílčím cílem práce je provedení kvantitativního výzkumu za účelem zjištění názoru veřejnosti na problematiku Islámského státu a terorismu. V teoretické části práce je podána charakteristika Islámského státu, jeho ideologie, významné osobnosti a provedené teroristické útoky. Praktická část přináší kvantitativní výzkum prezentující názory veřejnosti na Islámský stát a povědomí o tomto uskupení. Výzkumným předpokladem této části práce je, že Islámský stát představuje stále bezpečnostní hrozbu pro Evropu i další kontinenty světa. Tento výzkumný předpoklad byl potvrzen v práci pouze částečně.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is the terrorist organization Islamic State. The aim of the thesis is to define the current manifestations of the Islamic State. Another goal of the work is to find out whether the Islamic State still poses a security risk for the European continent. The partial goal of the work is to conduct quantitative research in order to find out the opinion of the public on the issue of the Islamic State and terrorism. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the characteristics of the Islamic State, its ideology, important personalities and terrorist attacks are given. The practical part brings quantitative research presenting the public's views on the Islamic State and awareness of this group. The research premise of this part of the work is that the Islamic State still represents a security threat to Europe and other continents of the world. This research assumption was only partially confirmed in the work.
