Brownfields as an opportunity for the development of the city
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce vymezuje pojem brownfields a jeho charakteristiku. Porovnává výhody a nevýhody brownfields oproti greenfields. Dále popisuje proces revitalizace. Na základě vyhodnocení revitalizací jiných objektů navrhuje možné využití konkrétního objektu, identifikovaného na základě mapování brownfields ve vybraném sídle.
Abstract:
This thesis defines a "brownfields" concept and its characteristic. It compares the advantages and disadvantages of brownfields towards greenfields. It also describes the process of revitalization. Based on the evaluation of the revitalization of other objects, it suggests the possible use of a specific object identified on the basis of mapping brownfields in chosen town.
