V souvislosti s tím se práce zaměřuje na vymezení žánru historického románu a jeho odnoží v české literatuře po roce 1945. Zabývá se také životem osobnosti Jana Jessenia. This bachelor thesis deals with novel Lékař umírajicího času, written by the author, Vladimír Körner. In connection with this, the thesis focuses on defining the genre of the historical novel and its offshoots in Czech literature after 1945. It also deals with the life of Jan Jessenia.
