Turková, T., Identifikace dopadů IFRS 17 – Pojistné smlouvy do účetnictví komerčních pojišťoven. Brno: Mendelova univerzita, 2023. Diplomová práce je zaměřena nový mezinárodní účetní standard IFRS 17. Tento standard má datum účinnosti od 1.1.2023. V první části této diplomové práce je popsáno odvětví pojišťovnictví. Práce se dále zabývá účetnictvím v pojišťovnách. V teoretické části jsou představeny mezinárodní standardy IFRS 17 a IFRS 4 a také jsou zde popsány metody ocenění smluv a přístupy ke stanovení smluvní servisní marže. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je definovat očekávané dopady implementace IFRS 17 na pojišťovny obecně a analyzovat tyto dopady na příkladu vybraných komerčních pojišťoven.

Turková, T., Identification of the impact of IFRS 17 – Insurance contracts on accounting of commercial insurances. Brno: Mendel University, 2023. The diploma thesis is focused on the new international accounting standard IFRS 17 which came into effect on January st, 2023. In the first part of this thesis, the insurance sector is described. The following topic of the thesis is accounting in in-surance companies. In the theoretical part, the international standards IFRS 17 and IFRS 4 are presented, as well as a description of contract valuation methods and approaches to determining the contractual service margin. The main goal of the thesis is to define the expected effects of the implementation of IFRS 17 on insur-ance companies in general and analyse those effects on the example of selected companies providing commercial insurance.
