Abstract:

Resource-constrained scheduling problem (RCPSP) má mnoho různých variant a ještě více algoritmů se používá pro jeho řešení. Multi-skilled resource-constrained project scheduling (MSRCPSP) je variantou, která přidává do zdrojů dovednosti (skills), které mohou být vyžadovány při provádění aktivit. Tato studie se zabývá touto variantou problému pomocí artificial bee colony (ABC), metaheuristického algoritmu inspirovaného kolektivní inteligencí včelího úlu. Multi-skilled resource-constrained project scheduling, artificial bee colony a její implementace jsou zde podrobně popsány. Experimenty jsou prováděny na benchmarkových projektech. Tato práce ukazuje, že artificial bee colony může být konkurenceschopným algoritmem v kontextu plánování projektů.

Abstract:

Resource-constrained scheduling problem has many different variants and even more algorithms used in solutions. Multi-skilled resource-constrained project scheduling is a variant adding skills to resources which activities might require. This study deals with this variant with an artificial bee colony, a metaheuristic algorithm inspired by the collective intelligence of honey beehives. The multi-skilled resource-constrained project scheduling, the artificial bee colony algorithms and their implementation are described in detail. Experiments are run on benchmark projects. This thesis shows that the artificial bee colony could be a competitive algorithm in the context of project scheduling.
