The main aim of the Bachelor thesis Theatre life in Prievidza in 1945-1958 is historiographical mapping of the theatrical culture in Prievidza. The thesis concentrates on the development of post-war urban theatre in socio-political context until 1958 in order to identify an ancestor of today's Theatre "A".
