Abstract:
The diploma thesis „Vítězslav Novák – Pan Op. 43“ deals with the largest piano piece of mentioned composer. Thesis is opened by a brief biography of composer and his compositional style. The main part focuses on an analysis of the piece from the point of view of interpreter-pianist. Thesis also describes circumstances and major inspirations which led to creation of this masterpiece.
