Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem měření a sledování udržitelnosti cestovního ruchu pomocí indikátorů. Cílem práce je navření vhodné sady indikátoru udržitelného cestovního ruchu pro lázeňská místa Karlovarského kraje s ohledem na existující soubory indikátorů. Práce je rozdělena do několika navazujících na sebe částí. Teoretická část se zabývá teoretickými poznatky s hlediska udržitelností cestovního ruchu a jeho vlivu na turistické destinaci, věnuje se indikátorům udržitelného cestovního ruchu a způsobům jejich měření. Dále práce obsahuje vymezení základních pojmů spojených s lázeňstvím a popis lázeňství jako části cestovního ruchu. Praktická část nejdříve srovnává existující soubory indikátorů, ze kterých jsou pak vyčleněny jednotlivé indikátory pro sestavení vlastního souboru indikátorů zaměřeného na lázeňská místa Karlovarského kraje. Analýzu lázeňských míst a hodnocení dostupností validních dat k naplnění účelů této práce obsahuje samostatná kapitola. Dále je navržen soubor ze třech skupin indikátorů dle základních pilířů udržitelného cestovního ruchu. Prostřednictvím případových studií je oceněná aplikovatelnost indikátorů na základě dostupných dat, kde lázeňská místa se porovnávají podle jednotlivých parametrů. Návrhová část se věnuje ocenění zjištěných výsledků, prezentuje výsledný soubor indikátorů pro lázeňská místa a komentáře ohledně jeho aplikací.

Abstract:

Master‘s dissertation deals with the theme of measuring and monitoring sustainability of tourism with the help of indicators. The aim of the dissertation is to find an appropriate set of sustainable tourism indicators for spa resorts of Karlovy Vary region with taking into account existing sets of indicators. This dissertation is divided into several successive parts. The theoretical part deals with the theoretical knowledge about sustainable tourism and its influence on the tourist destinations, tells about the indicators of sustainable tourism and the ways of their measurement. Also, the work includes the definitions of basic concepts related to spa and description of spa tourism in terms of tourism components. The practical part compares existing sets of indicators. With the help of this sets of indicators will be created one set, which will be focused on the spa resorts of Karlovy Vary region. Then the dissertation analyzes the spa resorts and the availability of valid data to fulfill the purposes of this dissertation. Furthermore, a set of three groups of indicators will be proposed according to the main pillars of sustainable tourism. Case studies are assessing the applicability of indicators on the basis of available data, where spa resorts are compared according to individual parameters. The last part of dissertation focuses on the evaluation of the results, presenting the final set of indicators for spa resorts and commenting the way of its application.
