The Evaluation of Selected Items of the Balance Sheet in the Service Business - the Accounting and Tax Perspective

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na dlouhodobý majetek z pohledu účetního a daňového. Tato práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je na základě odborné literatury dlouhodobý majetek vymezen nejprve z účetního hlediska, a poté daňového hlediska. Příslušné kapitoly se zaměřují na evidenci a ocenění dlouhodobého majetku, účetní a daňové odpisy, technické zhodnocení a vyřazení dlouhodobého majetku. V praktické části jsou vypočítány účetní a daňové odpisy dlouhodobého majetku ve vybraném podniku. Na základě porovnání jednotlivých typů odpisů je vyhodnocen nejvhodnější způsob odpisování a je analyzována velikost daňové úspory.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on fixed assets from the accounting and tax perspective. This thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. Based on the literature research, fixed assets are defined from the accounting and tax perspectives in the theoretical part. These chapters focus on recognising and measuring fixed assets, accounting and tax depreciation, technical improvement, and disposal of fixed assets. In the practical part, accounting and tax depreciation of fixed assets of a given company is calculated. Based on the comparison of individual types of depreciation, the best depreciation technique is selected, and the corresponding tax saving is demonstrated.
