The Church of Saint Bartholomew in Brno-Žebětín and Its Rebuilding in the 20th Century

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na přestavbu kostela sv. Bartoloměje v Brně-Žebětíně v letech 1922 - 1923, která se uskutečnila dle projektu Vladimíra Fischera z roku 1912. Ke staršímu, původně středověkému objektu chrámu, byla napojena loď nové stavby. Pozornost je věnována průběhu přípravného řízení ke stavbě i postupu samotné stavby, též je připojen popis kostela. Stavba je zařazena do kontextu tvorby architekta Fischera. Stručněji je též pojednáno o starší historii chrámu.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the rebuilding of st. Bartholomew´s church in Brno-Žebětín in 1922 - 1923 what was happened according Vladimír Fischer´s project from 1912. New aisle was connected to old building what was founded in medieval times. Attention is gived to preparatory administration for the building and building´s process. The church is described. Building is put into context of Fischer´s creation. Older history of the church is described shortly.
