This bachelor´s thesis deals with Margaret Thatcher and her influence on the end of the Cold War. The Prime Minister of Great Britain, who served in this position for three terms, established a hard stance towards communism and was uncompromising towards the policy of the Soviet Union. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá Margaret Thatcher a jejím vlivem na konec studené války. Premiérka Velké Británie zastávající v této funkci celkem tři volební období razila tvrdé postoje vůči komunismu a byla nekompromisní vůči politice Sovětského svazu.
