Ideal teacher of Czech language from the perspective of pupils of the second degree in Primary school of Edvard Beneš at Lysice

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce přináší informace o tom, jak si žáci osmého a devátého ročníku Základní školy Edvarda Beneše v Lysicích představují ideálního učitele českého jazyka. Prostřednictvím výzkumu zjišťujeme, jaké by měl mít ideální učitel českého jazyka vlastnosti, jaké by měl mít pohlaví, kolik let by mu mělo být, jaké metody by měl učitel ve výuce využívat nebo jak by měl žáky zkoušet, hodnotit a klasifikovat. Diplomová práce se zabývá profesí učitele, výchovnými styly a vybranými typologiemi učitelů. Dále se věnuje specifikům předmětu český jazyk na základní škole, psychologickým zvláštnostem žáků 8. a 9. ročníku základní školy a přináší také informace o již realizovaných výzkumech týkajících se ideálního učitele. Stěžejní částí diplomové práce je empirický výzkum, který byl na dané téma realizován na konkrétní základní škole. Nejdříve je popsán cíl výzkumu, charakterizován výzkumný vzorek a jsou stanoveny hypotézy. Následně je provedena analýza získaných dat, díky které je v závěru práce sestaven portrét ideálního učitele českého jazyka tak, jak si jej vybraní žáci Základní školy Lysice představují.

Abstract:

This thesis brings information about how pupils of the eighth and ninth year from the Primary school of Edvard Beneš in Lysice present an ideal teacher of the Czech language. Through this study we find out what qualities such an ideal teacher of the Czech language should have, which sex is preferred, how old he or she should be, what teaching methods he or she should employ and how the pupils should be tested, evaluated and assessed. The thesis deals with the teaching profession, different forms of education and with selected typologies of a teacher. Then it pays attention to particularities of the Czech language as a subject at the primary school and psychological curiosities of the pupils of the eighth and ninth year of the primary school. The last chapter brings information about implemented researches referring to the ideal teacher. The main part of the thesis is an empirical study accomplished at a particular school. Here the target of the study as well as the characteristic of the inspected specimen are solved out. The hypotheses are set and the analysis of the obtained data followed by a discussion is carried out. Finally, a portrait of the ideal teacher of the Czech language is formed the way the pupils of the Primary school in Lysice imagine.
