Transformation of music industry after the emergence of digital distribution of music
Abstract:
Diplomová práce "Proměna hudebního průmyslu po nástupu digitální distribuce hudby" pojednává o vývoji hudebního průmyslu v reakci na nástup internetu a digitální distribuce hudebních nahrávek. Mapuje pokles fyzického prodeje hudebních nosičů v kontrastu s nárůstem digitálních prodejů a popisuje způsoby, jakými hudební vydavatelství na vzniklou situaci reagují
Abstract:
Diploma thesis „Transformation of music industry after the emergence of digital distribution of music” deals with evolution of music industry in the age of The Internet and digital distribution of music recordings. It focuses on the decline of physical sales of music and the growth of digital music sales and describes means, by which the music labels react on this new situation.
