The human rights movement in the Czech Republic after 1989
Abstract:
Cílem práce je představit teorii sociálních hnutí a aplikovat ji na případ českých hnutí za lidská práva po roce 1989. Základním východiskem je model politického procesu, na jehož základě práce analyzuje, jak lidsko-právní hnutí v Čechách využilo mezinárodních i domácích politických příležitostí po roce 1989. Analyzuje jejich repertoár a rámování agendy v kontextu jednání hnutí.
Abstract:
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to present the theory of social movements and to apply it to the case of Czech human rights movements after 1989. The starting point is a model of political process; on its ground this thesis analyzes how human rights movement in Czech Republic made use of international and internal political opportunities after 1989.
