Diplomová práca sa zaoberá procesom tvorby účtovnej uzávierky, následnou komparáciou účtovnej uzávierky v jednoduchom a podvojnom účtovníctve a končí analýzou účtovnej uzávierky vo vybranej účtovnej jednotke. Práca je rozdelená do troch kapitol. Prvá časť je zameraná na charakteristiku a podrobný popis tvorby účtovnej uzávierky.
