Financial analysis of the joint stock company PAPCEL in years 2003 - 2006

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je shrnout základní poznatky týkající se finanční analýzy a následně je praktikovat na konkrétním podniku PAPCEL, a. s. v letech 2003 {--} 2006 jako východisko pro posouzení finanční situace a hospodaření tohoto podniku. Práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí {--} teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části je popsána podstata finanční analýzy a nastolen její význam pro podnik. Následně, v praktické části práce je detailně provedena finanční analýza společnosti PAPCEL, a. s. v letech 2003 {--} 2006. Práci uzavírá hodnocení současné finanční situace a hospodaření společnosti s návrhem možných opatření a řešení, které by vedli ke zlepšení vývoje jednotlivých ukazatelů finanční analýzy.

Abstract:

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to summarize the basic knowledge concerning financial analysis and then to carry out the practical financial analysis of the joint stock company PAPCEL in years 2003 -2006 as a base for judging of financial situation and economy of this company. The thesis consists of two main sections {--} the theoretical and analytical one. The theoretical section focuses on description of the principles of the financial analysis and the sense of the financial analysis for a firm is showed off there. Consequently, in analytical section of this thesis the detailed financial analysis of the joint stock company PAPCEL in years 2003 {--} 2006 is worked out. The work results in the evaluation of the current financial situation and economy of the company including suggestion of the possible steps which can improve the development of the individual indexes of financial analysis.
