Bakalářská práce se zabývá, jak již naznačuje její název, příčinami, vývojem a následky hypoteční krize. Cílem práce je vysvětlit hlavní příčiny krize. Práce je rozdělena do pěti hlavních kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá bankami, bankovním systémem, produkty ale také bankovní regulací a dohledem. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na podobné krize v minulosti. This bachelor thesis deals with, as indicated by its name causes, development and consequences of the mortgage crisis. The aim is to explain the main causes of the crisis.
