Analysis of the Tito-Stalin split after the second world war and her influence on the political and economic situation of the country in context of international relations

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá mezinárodní roztržkou mezi Jugoslávií a Sovětským svazem, která se odehrála mezi lety 1948 a 1953. Je zde detailně analyzováno období a situace v obou zemích před, během a po době trvání tohoto konfliktu. Práce zahrnuje analýzu a komparaci obou hospodářství a jejich makroekonomických ukazatelů a vliv tohoto konfliktu na ně. Jsou zde také porovnány mezinárodní vztahy obou zemí a vliv, jaký na ně měla roztržka. Je zde také popsán vliv na jugoslávské obyvatele a zejména persekuce jugoslávské prosovětské opozice. Konflikt je popisován a analyzován až do roku 1953, kdy umírá sovětský vůdce Stalin a na jeho místo byl dosazen Chruščov, a konflikt tak skončil.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the split between Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union, which took place between 1948 and 1953. It analyses in detail the periods and situations in both countries before, during and after the conflict. The thesis includes the analysis and comparison of both economies and their macroeconomic indicators and the impact of this conflict on them. It also compares the international relations of the two countries with the impact they had on them. It also describes the impact on Yugoslav population and subsequent persecution of the Yugoslav pro-soviet opposition. The conflict is described and analysed until the year 1953, when the Soviet leader Stalin dies and Khrushchev was installed in his place and so the conflict ended.
