Factors affecting the choice of customer loan

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá faktory, které ovlivňují volbu spotřebitelského úvěru. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. První je převážně teoretická, která se zaměřuje na obecné charakteristiky spotřebitelského trhu, právní úpravy a jeho legislativní změny v posledních letech. Druhá část obsahuje analýzu determinantů, které ovlivňují spotřebitele při volbě spotřebitelského úvěru u vybraného vzorku poskytovatelů a vývoj spotřebitelského trhu se zadlužeností českých domácností. K pochopení faktorů spotřebitelského chování při výběru poskytovatele jsou využity také průzkumy trhu. Zjištěním je, že jsou pro spotřebitele mimo ceny úvěru důležitá také rychlost vyřízení a náklady při předčasném splacení. Práce by měla přispět k hodnocení současných podmínek na trhu a usnadnit výběr poskytovatele spotřebitelského úvěru.

Abstract:

The Diploma thesis deals with factors affecting the choice of customer loan. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first is mostly theoretical and is focused on general features of credit market, legislation and legislative amendment in recent years. The second part contains analyses of determinants affecting the choice of customer loan on selected sample of consumer credit providers and a development of customer credit market with the indebtedness of Czech households. Market researches are also used for supporting comprehension of factors of consumers’ behaviour in the choice of consumer credit provider. The conclusion is that there are as important factors as price and there are the time taken to loan process and breakage costs. Generally, the work should contribute to evaluation and understanding of the current market conditions in order to facilitate a choice of consumer credit provider.
