Time management: Creating harmony between professional and private life Case study in DECPLAST Okna s.r.o.

Abstract:

The topic of my master thesis is time management, creating harmony between professional and private life. In the theoretical part, you will find the newest findings from the field of time management and self management, as well as explanations of elementary expressions such as time or stress. All of that based on a great amount of scientific sources from both Czech and foreign authors. In the analytical part I used the questionnaires to find out what level is knowledge of time management in various positions across the market in Czech Republic and the U.S.A. Based on the survey results I formulate theses that I subsequently prove by secondary survey as a part of case study in company DECPLAST okna s.r.o. Based on the survey and interviews analysis in the company I identify the key-problems in the sphere of time management and in the form of project I suggest the solution that will lead to current state improvement. I examine the project by hazard operation study or by cost analysis.

Abstract:

Tématem mé diplomové práce je time management se zaměřením na harmonii mezi prací a soukromým životem. V teoretické části naleznete nejnovější poznatky z oblasti time managementu a self managementu, které jsem čerpal z různých odborných zdrojů jak českých, tak cizojazyčných. V analytické části formou dotazníkového šetření zjišťuji úroveň time managementu v různých firmách na různých úrovních a dokonce v porovnání Česka a U.S.A. na základě čehož formuluji tezi, kterou následně ověřuji v projektové části sekundárním průzkumem v případové studii firmy DECPLAST okna s.r.o. V této firmě na základě analýzy průzkumu a osobních konzultací se zaměstnanci identifikuji klíčové problémy v oblasti time managementu a formou projektu navrhuji taková řešení, která povedou k významnému zlepšení současného stavu. Projekt podrobuji rizikové a nákladové analýze.
